Introducing Turning Point Boost - NCEA Exam & Study Skills

Due to popular demand and the success of Turning Point Bridge, the team at Richard Joseph & Associates have created a new course for youth called Turning Point Boost, designed especially for students preparing for NCEA.

NCEA exams can be a stressful time. The pressure to perform during exams generates huge amounts of stress and anxiety that inhibits peak performance and creates a nerve-wracking home and school environment.

Giving Students the Boost they need to reach their potential just before exams

NCEA exams can be a stressful time. The pressure to perform during exams generates huge amounts of stress and anxiety that inhibits peak performance and creates a nerve-wracking home and school environment.

Richard Joseph and Associates is bringing its 30 years of personal development experience and expertise to give students the boost they need to get over the line and ensure optimal performance this exam season.

Turning Point Boost is a two day course

TP Boost has two primary goals:

  •  Provide a toolkit of personalised study and time management skills that will enhance study time and exam performance
  •  Boost self-discipline, independence and create the self-belief and mind set required for exam success

The Turning Point team provides a much needed fresh voice and perspective to a high pressure situation. We provide an informative, fun (yes study can be fun!) and supportive environment. Give your teen the boost they need to achieve NCEA success

  • Organisations don't change, people do.

The fundamental truth about organisational change is that it occurs one person at a time, which means it’s as much about individuals breaking old habits and forming new ones (over time) as anything else, and we know how difficult that can be.

  • Has goal setting had it's day?

In my work developing people, I often ask my clients, “What do you want in life?” I have asked hundreds of people that question, and the answers are always variations on the same theme: “Inner peace,” “To be happy,” “To make a difference.” Shifting the focus from the external world to the internal empowers people to make changes within themselves.
